PLEASE NOTE: Valley of Cats (VOC) is still closing. We are using Gou Li Valley as the alternative.

Day 1 fly into Yushu via Beijing,Xining or Chengdu

Day 2 One day at Yushu rest and shopping

Day 3 Pick up by the vehicles of the SL community and drive to Valley of Snow Leopard

Day 4-8 Looking for Snow Leopards and otrher mammals

Day 9 drop back to Yushu

Day 10 departure from Yushu to the city where connect the international flights

Important notes:

Best time is Oct. to next April. Come to lower for food in winter.

Each May to June the Valley of Snow Leopard is closed for tourists.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Valley of Snow Leopard (Valley of Cats) was closed since 2023 and now we are using Gou Li Valley at Dulan as the alternative.

Day 1 fly into Yushu （3600m) via Beijing,Xining or Chengdu

Day 2 one day around Yushu for mammal watching and acclimatize the high altitute

Day 3 Drive to Qumalai (4100m) for mammal watching in the afternoon

Tibetan Gazelle, Pallas's Cat, Grey Wolf, Tibetan & Red Fox, Argali, Blue Sheep, White-lipped Deer, Mountain Weasel, Plateau & Glover’s Pika, Wooly Hare

Day 4 Drive to Xidatan and looking for mammals at Kekexili area

Tibetan Antelope, Wild Yak, Kiang, Tibetan Gazelle, Grey Wolf, Tibetan & Red Fox, Argali, Blue Sheep, White-lipped Deer, Mountain Weasel, Himalyan Marmot, Plateau & Glover’s Pika, Wooly Hare

Day 5 Almost full day at Wild Yak Valley and drive to Gomuld for overnight

Tibetan Antelope, Wild Yak, Lynx, Kiang, Brown Bear, Tibetan Gazelle, Pallas's Cat, Grey Wolf, Tibetan & Red Fox, Argali, Blue Sheep, Himalyan Marmot, Plateau Pika, Wooly Hare

Day 6 drive to Xiangride Town where used at the base for Gouli Valley for mammals,looking for Goitered Gazelle on the way

Day 7-10 Looking for three kinds of cats and other mammals at Gouli Valley area (detailed map as follow)

Snow Leopard, Lynx, Pallas's Cat,Kiang,Brown Bear, Tibetan Gazelle, Grey Wolf, Tibetan & Red Fox, Blue Sheep, Red Deer, Himalyan Marmot, Plateau & Glover’s Pika, Wooly Hare

Day 11 drive to Xining via Przewalski's Gazelle site

Day 12 Fly from Xining to the city where to connect the international flights
