Since 2004, Jay Wu was working as assistant of secretary-general of Sichuan Zoology Society and Chengdu Institute of Biology, coordinate surveys to Sichuan, Yunnan, and Northeast Myanmar with scientists  from mainland China and Taiwan, German, U.S for amphibians and  reptiles field research. 8 years ago, he finished his bio-geographic study on Chinese Dragon Lizard Genus Japalura.sp,  cooperate with Taiwan Sun Yat-sen University, Department of Biological Science.

He is focus on birding ecotour developement as member of World Wetland Network(WWN) as well as photo constructor of Oriental Bird Club / Oriental Bird Image.
